I am not sure whether I deserve this. I'm not even sure if this is a blessing or a curse... But such an opportunity doesn't come really often. Take a year off, to study statistics in France, one of the most cycling-friendly countries in the world! I get to train, and race around 6 days a week, go to school only 2 days a week. For a
competitive cyclist this is heaven without an ounce of doubt! However, being a pessimist makes me wonder if there is something I am missing; that there might be a hidden catch somewhere... Perhaps there is none. What if the price to pay is that I will find it even harder to go back to Lebanon and its chaos after spending one magnificent year in Europe.
Anyway till my visa expires or they kick me out of France, I will keep on pedaling till I stretch my physiological limits and do some stats during my free time :-)
Is the summer officially over?

With the winter season knocking on the door, our long Lebanese summer has
officially ended. Gotta respect the laws of nature or else we'd be in big
troub...
