A work related e-mail during the holydays!

Hi XXXXX,

We have updated the questionnaire (the Arabic version), we agree with you that it would better to keep all the questions, we have nothing to loose by keeping them, at least during this stage. We will adjust it further according to the feedback.

Speaking for myself (and I think this might be YYYYY's situation as well): I will not be working a lot this coming period (anyway I think that December was not a very productive month for me). I will be having some visitors from abroad; this however does not mean that I will not be around for quick adjustments. Thought I’d let you know.

Mass... punishment

Ok I've heard of mass media, mass suicide, but mass punishment??? WTF? I mean _Z please help me on this one! Why on earth do we have road bumps! why would you have 2 black (invisible) road bumps in Bhannes/Daher El Souwan area, a tiny village next to Bickfaya. Is it some sort of urban mass punishment? if it is imposed for speeding bastards, can't they just allocate a policeman? or is it not cost effective? How about all the broken cars, and accidents caused because of these road bumps?? Why should there be 12 road bumps over a 20 Km ride!!! As if the holes are not enough!! Why should I break my car, if my neighbour is an asshole?

Seriously wherever you go in Lebanon, you have road bumps! Luckily they tried to assassinate a couple of politicians in Antelias and Beirut, by placing booby trapped cars next to some road bumps so that they remove those 2 specific bumps!
